Services

Northwest Medical Analytic Laboratory provides clinical laboratory services for physicians, clinics, and other healthcare facilities. Short turn-around times for routine and STAT testing provide the highest quality patient care in a timely fashion.

Quality Control is maintained by participation in external proficiency and quality assurance programs.

A written order from a physician is required for most specimen processing. However, a limited range of tests – including glucose, cholesterol, and PSA – can be arranged by patient request. Click here for additional information.

Clinical Laboratory Testing

Clinical laboratory tests and EKG studies are performed by medical technologists and technicians with state-of-the-art equipment and methods, supervised by Board Certified Pathologists. Laboratory personnel examine and analyze blood, body fluids (e.g., urine, peritoneal fluid, cerebrospinal fluid), tissues and cells. They test for bacteria, parasites, viruses, and other microorganisms, chemical content of fluids, and to evaluate patient response to treatments.

Northwest Medical Analytic Laboratory’s technical staff is comprised of pathologists, microbiologists, and general clinical laboratory scientists of proven competence. We take great pride in providing the highest quality testing with a personal level of service.

Pathologist Services

  • Medical Directorship (Board Certified)
  • Physician consultation 24 hours, 7 days a week
  • Committee participation, such as infection control, quality management, and peer review
  • Consultative services (anatomic pathology, microbiology, immunohematology, infectious diseases, environmental toxins, EPA standards and requirements as applied to health care entities)
  • Consultations on Blood Banking, transfusion services, and autologous transfusion protocol evaluations
  • Autopsy services, including post mortem neuropathology
  • Performance and/or interpretation of fine needle aspirations
  • Customized pathology services
